Dr. Steve Friedman, a local ophthalmologist in Cornelius, has been an advisor for the North Mecklenburg Communication Center since 1993.  Among his duties with the Communication Center his is also an advisor to the Radio Communications Council for Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Safety Radio System.
